Safety kit as a gadget

Within storyworks.digital

Task:

The client needed a fresh way to remind employees of the importance of using personal protective equipment (PPE) at industrial sites. Traditional safety communications often go unnoticed—employees see them as dull and repetitive.

Solution:
We reimagined PPE as high-tech gear, similar to personal gadgets. Each item—glasses, gloves, boots, helmets, and suits—was presented as a smart, innovative tool with unique features. The entire site was built like a sleek product launch, inspired by how brands present cutting-edge tech.
xWe designed the website to feel like a premium tech showcase, using large typography, sharp layout, and dynamic 3D visuals. Each item had its own section, complete with interactive animations and close-up renders, highlighting key features and use cases.

PPE became the hero of the story. Through short, engaging narratives and product-style storytelling, we explained how each piece of equipment functions and why it matters. The tone was bold, confident, and visually rich—far from the typical corporate safety manual.

We designed the website to feel like a premium tech showcase, combining dynamic 3D models with expressive hand-drawn illustrations. While the 3D visuals highlighted the functionality and precision of each PPE item, the illustrations added warmth and artistic flair—balancing the tech aesthetic with a more human, relatable feel. This visual contrast made the content more engaging and memorable for the audience.

Result:The website helped shift how employees perceived PPE—from a mandatory chore to a smart, protective asset. After the launch, the company observed a noticeable drop in workplace incidents, showing that the right narrative and design can drive real behavioral change—even in traditionally “dry” topics like safety.
